Confirmation

Confirmation is an important step in our journey of faith. At confirmation, a promise is made to live as a Christian and continue to develop a personal relationship with God. It is the ‘confirming’ of Baptismal vows that were normally taken earlier on behalf of a child. Confirmation is a conscious statement of faith made by an individual, and is the continuation of a spiritual journey that will last a lifetime.

On Easter Sunday we welcomed three young people into membership in our congregation and in the United Church of Canada: Eric Ball, Derek Campbell and Shawn Gilmour. We wish them blessings and peace on their journey.
